Are you always in your home office? Do you hate the way that your home office looks and because of that you are always trying to come up with a way to leave? This is something that a lot of home office workers suffer from and the truth is that they are going through this because they didn't properly setup their home office.

Are you wondering what I am talking about right now? What I am talking about is there are things you will need to do in order to make your home office more comfortable. What you need to understand is that the only way to remain in your office is if you feel comfortable in it. I work around 12 hours every day in my home office and the only way I am able to do that is by making sure it is as comfortable as can be before I start working.

Tips To Make Your Home Office Comfortable

Lighten It Up - The first thing that I would recommend is to lighten up the office. What this means is to get rid of all the dark things in your office and replace them with lighter things. Another thing you can do is add more lights inside the room or at least open a window and get some natural light shining through the windows.

Soft Music - One thing that I always like to do is add some soft music. What you need to understand is that the music should not have loud words and you should not be able to hear it clearly from where you are sitting, if you can then it is either too loud of you are too close to it.

Better Chair - One other thing I would recommend is a better chair. If you are going to get a lot of work done in your office then you have to have a comfortable home office chair, there is not buts about it. The only thing I would not do is get an office chair that lays back too far or is too soft because that will actually decrease your productivity.

Just know that the only reason you have an office is to get your own stuff done, it is not there to browse the internet and chat with friends and having it too comfortable will encourage that. My advice to you is to start with your home office chair and then work your way around the room to make it the most comfortable.
